Originally KC Consulting awarded two $500 scholarships: one for STEM in honor of my father, Carlton E. Kranz (Purdue BS EE '49) and one for my mother, a pianist, singer, and artist. Since 2015 it has been difficult to find students pursuing arts and/or music. Moreover, KC Consulting isn't doing much consulting so now Erich Kranz (ECS '66, MIT '71 BS & MS) awards a $1000 scholarship in the name of his parents Carlton E. Kranz and Shirley VanNote Kranz to a college-bound graduate pursuing a degree in engineering or the sciences. Students will be referred by the scholarship committee at Eden Central and be given a user name and password to log into this website. Click the CEK button (left) below and after entering the user name and password, you will be asked for your name, address, email address, class ranking, GPA, and a 200 word essay concerning your qualifications for the scholarship.
